Reducing Teen Pregnancy – Robert Blum, MD PhD MPH, – Johns Hopkins University

750,000 young people 15 to 19 years of age become pregnant every year.

Dr. Blum is the William H. Gates Senior Professor and Chair in the Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health in the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. He is also the Director of the Johns Hopkins Urban Health Institute. He has been received the Society for Adolescent Medicine’s Outstanding Achievement Award (1993) and the American Public Health Association’s Herbert Needleman Award (1993) for his work.
