Health Behavior – Dr. Belinda Borrelli – Boston University

Health care in the US has increasingly embraced a preventative model but success is influenced by individual health behavior.

Dr. Belinda Borrelli, Professor in the Department of Health Policy & Health Services at Boston University, as well as the Research Director in the Behavioral Science Research division, discusses how to motivate behavior change. Dr. Borrelli specializes in integrating theory based treatments into public health contexts, and targeting underserved populations such as those with low income, inner city youth and adults, Latinos, people with mobility impairments, medically ill populations, older adults, and Native-Americans.
