Smart Classroom Upgrades

Information Technology continues its commitment to enhancing campus classrooms with technologies that support teaching and learning. Last semester, the Gillet 024 lecture hall had a tech upgrade to support the new, dynamic teaching approaches of our faculty.  Improvements included a laser projector, a new audio system, as well as wireless collaboration tools, among others. Several new multi-modal computer labs were launched this semester. They include Carman B38, 220, 242, 311 and 342. Carman 320 will be outfitted as a multi-modal classroom during the summer. These upgrades were the result of funding from an NSS grant, Lehman College Strategic Initiatives, and the Tech Fee process.  We appreciate the collaboration and support of faculty, the Campus Planning and Facilities, and Buildings and Grounds.
