December 2, 2013 2:15 pm Alumni, Nursing Dept, President FernándezLehman College is saddened to announce the death of alumna Kisook Ahn (BS ’09, MS ’12) in the December 1 crash of a Metro North train in the Bronx. She was one of four people killed when the train jumped the tracks near the Spuyten Duyvil station, just southwest of the Lehman College campus. Ms. Ahn, 35, was a native of South Korea, arriving in the United States in 2008 as part of Lehman’s exchange program with Sungshin Women’s University. She completed an accelerated bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2009 and a master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program in 2012.
