It’ll be a homecoming of sorts when Latin Jazz musician Eddie Palmieri kicks off the 33rd season at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx on Sept. 28.
“I was raised in the Bronx,” says Palmieri, who now lives in Queens. “So I’m in my home turf. I was raised on Kelly St. but born in Manhattan.”
Palmieri’s performance will showcase his latest album, “Sabiduria!,” which features the brand of music that has kept the career of the 76-year-old icon flourishing for more than 50 years.
