Ken Roman, author of Writing that Works and How to Advertise, will visit the Lehman campus on Thursday, October 4, to discuss the importance of writing effectively for the workplace. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., the talk will be held in Room 306 of the Music Building. This event is free and open to the community.
Roman is the former chairman/CEO of Ogilvy and Mather Worlwide—a company he served for 26 years. He was instrumental in building the company’s major business clients, including American Express, Unilever, Kimberly-Clark, and General Foods. He also helped the company branch off into China, Korea, and Russia.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Roman is the author of The King of Madison Avenue: David Ogilvy and the Making of Modern Advertising.
