Lehman’s Athletics Department has announced a new partnership with the Montefiore Medical Center’s Division of Sports Medicine. Under the direction of Dr. David Gonzalez, Montefiore will provide medical and orthopedic services for all of Lehman’s eighteen varsity sports teams.
Dr. Gonzalez and other physicians will be available during the year to provide physical examinations and support, when needed, for all of Lehman’s nearly 300 student-athletes.
“This is such a great partnership for Lehman College,” said Director of Athletics Dr. Martin L. Zwiren. “With such a world-renowned medical center in our backyard, it only makes sense that we work with them.”
