Dr. Marilyn Aguirre-Molina spoke with The Grio, an NBC News website about a new study in the August issue of Health Affairs that says African-Americans with college educations live longer. Dr. Aguirre-Molina is a Professor in the College’s Public Health department and is the Founding Director of the CUNY Institute for Health Equity, which is based at Lehman College.
