Visiting the archaeological site of Phaestos.

Professor Marie Marianetti (History), second from right, is in Crete once again this summer, teaching Lehman students. This is the second year that the Department of History has taken students to Crete to study “The History and Archaeology of the Bronze Age Minoan and Mycenaean Settlements.” The group has visited many sites, including the archaeological site of Phaestos, shown in the photo, and Professor Marianetti reports that they have been enjoying both the visits and the classes.
