Professor Marcie Wolfe, executive director of the Institute for Literacy Studies, will be a guest on NWP Radio’s Blog Talk on Thursday, May 24, at 7 p.m. for a discussion on writing on our nation’s campuses.
Joining Professor Wolfe will be two Writing Across the Curriculum experts: Chris Thaiss, a Clark Kerr Presidential Chair and professor in the University Writing Program at the University of California, Davis, and Joan Mullin, chair of the English Department at Illinois State University.
The talk will focus on what’s happening with writing in the major, in upper division courses, and in general education content area courses. The segment will be made available as a podcast on the station’s website after it airs.
