Best-selling author Esmeralda Santiago talks about the craft of memoir writing, while sharing some of the life experiences that contributed to her becoming a writer. She has written When I Was Puerto Rican as well as two other memoirs, a novel, and many essays and opinion pieces. This event was recorded on March 21, 2012 when Ms. Santiago delivered the 43rd annual Lehman Lecture.
