Millennium Art Academy Featured in ‘NYT’s School Book’

The School of Education’s Millennium Art Academy (MAA), which is part of the School’s network of Professional Development Schools, was recently featured in an article in the New York Times’ School Book. Written by MAA School Principal Maxine Nodel, the article focuses on the “super hero” teachers in her school who go above and beyond to ensure that each child not only learns the materials at hand, but also is treated with the respect and dignity necessary to believe in their own dreams.
